On Nov 22, the 2022 Qingdao International Procurement Fair for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises was officially launched. Organized by Qingdao Municipal People's Government and Bank of China, and organized by Qingdao Bureau of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, Administrative Committee of China-SCO Local Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Zone and Bank of China Qingdao Branch, the event aims to build a platform for small and medium-sized enterprises to display, exchange and cooperate, and promote international exchanges and cooperation of small and medium-sized enterprises. Leaders from the Qingdao Municipal government, Shanghai Cooperation Demonstration Zone and Qingdao Branch attended the opening ceremony, as well as representatives from international business associations and enterprises from Uzbekistan and Japan.

This activity lasts for three days, adopting the mode of combining online and offline, attracting more than 120 foreign buyers from Europe, the United States, Japan and South Korea, "One Belt and One Road" and 300 enterprises from 24 key industries including intelligent home appliances, high-end chemical industry, textile and clothing, integrated circuit, artificial intelligence and so on. At the opening ceremony, the establishment ceremony of "Qingdao Small and Medium-sized Enterprises International Procurement Partner Ecosystem", the launching ceremony of "Qingdao Small and medium-sized Enterprises International Procurement Online Platform" and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization small buyer Fair were held simultaneously.​

The year 2022 will be the sixth year of the matchmaking meeting jointly organized by Bank of China and Qingdao Municipal People's Government.
