In the context of the increase in soybean planting area, soybean production also showed a relatively obvious increase. If calculated according to the soybean area in official statistics, soybean production in 2022 is expected to be 19.8 million tons, an increase of about 3 million tons compared with the previous year.
According to the research of mysteel, the yield per mu of soybean producing areas in the south is better, and the yield per unit area in Shandong, Anhui and Henan is relatively high, and the yield per unit area is in a relatively high position in the past three years. Due to the continuous dry weather in July, the yield per unit area in Hubei Province decreased significantly compared with that in 21 years. The soybean yield per unit area in Northeast China is also at a relatively high level. The large pods are relatively dense. Although the grain size is small, the soybean yield per unit area is basically unaffected.
The change trend of soybean yield in China is basically the same as that of the planting area. Under the background of the No.1 central document "Expanding Beans", the soybean planting area has increased and the yield has increased significantly. In 2022, the soybean output will be about 19.48 million tons. With the increase of soybean planting area from 2017 to 2020, the yield also showed an increasing trend in the past four years. In 2020, China's soybean output reached 18.1 million tons, the highest in the past five years. In 2021, due to the reduction of soybean planting area, the soybean yield per unit area in Shandong and Henan decreased, and the official soybean yield in 2021 was 16.4 million tons.
Soybean production increased in 2022, but the demand side of the weak performance, soy products factory opening probability is not high. Since October, the COVID-19 epidemic has occurred in both production and sales areas, so the soybean shipment is slower and the grain sales progress is slower. As a result, the supply pressure has shifted, and the overall market may not be optimistic.
